In this article we will be looking at Minecraft story mode. Most importantly, is it worth buying?

Minecraft has never needed a built in story line to have a good story line. Because in Minecraft you make your own story, you craft adventures in whatever way you see fit. You can build a farm and tame animals, or you can destroy the whole world with TnT, lava and fire.

Minecraft story mode is much different then the normal Minecraft, and honestly reminds me more of a fan game, then a official game. There are lots of things that are the same, like most of the graphics and lore around the monsters. But when it comes to being realistic in the world of Minecraft it is just wrong in some places. Like a lever activating redstone lamps, when there is no way it could be connected to it.

Overall Minecraft story mode is almost like a single humans story inside of Minecraft, complete with animations (similar to Minecraft animations on Youtube). I recommend buying this game, but don’t expect it to be open world like Minecraft, or even build your own house, because you won’t. But it will give you a perspective on Minecraft that you might not have had before.
