What To Expect As Minecraft Moves Forward
When Minecraft started, everything was primitive, glitches in new features were common, when creating something epic, you had to go about working with what you had at the time. So instead of having fancy hoppers and redstone repeaters, you had to find ways to work around these things that were not yet added. The ways people got around these things (I would almost say shortcomings, but in honesty, they were some of the things that made Minecraft wonderful! The ways players would work with what they had, and still built EPIC things, was amazing). But what really should we expect from Minecraft going forward? Here is my opinion!
As we move forward, we will be seeing servers made even more simple… not only do we at this point in time have it much more simple then it was in the past, because of a large amount of plugin developers (which some are moving into paid), but we have free to use plugins like script, and command book, that allow us to edit our servers to the max without having to get a custom coder, not only do we need less custom coders (because of all the free plugins), but we can change most aspects of the game with skript, writing in a really simple way, unlike all the coding knowledge required, for coding plugins in the past.
In recent updates (1.7-1.8) We have seen huge upgrades, giving people the ability to setup a computer in minecraft, with a clickable screen, which might soon have the possibility to render video, but we can also add resource packs, with custom sounds, and epic gear, and all of this requires no client side download. I am amazed every time I take another look in the latest/new/upcoming plugins, but in all this fancy stuff we have now, let us all remember where it is Minecraft came from and where it is going!
