Hello everyone, today, in this article we will be talking about the Minecraft EULA that Mojang has plans on changing, and how it effects everyone that plays Minecraft.

First of all, what problems are they addressing,
1.Community being pay to win or free to play model, instead of a no advantages style server.
2.Parents complaining about credit cards being taken to buy huge ranks.

Now let’s step back and take a good look at our community, we have thousands of servers and most of them have a pay for perks style of game play… how does that effect the community? Firstly it helps servers cover costs, and to pay coders, or learn to code to get Multiplayer gameplay that hasn’t been beat, BUT, what does it do to the players? If you don’t have a budget on ranks/perks, then most times you can’t get any of the cool things offered by servers, say a premium rank that gives extra classes and better fighting abilities, some have a points earning system that you can earn ranks, but it takes a long time. Why does this bother some people? Well lets just say, I join a random server, and upon joining, I notice that another player has the $500 rank (which is a common rank on most servers) and I have only the new player kits, even if I am a much better player, I still probably won’t be able to beat him. Is this fair? No, can I deal with it? Yes. We just have to survive in this style of gameplay, and accept that for these good gamemodes we must either donate, or live without those perks.

Now the next problem is much harder to deal with kids stealing their parents credit cards to purchase huge ranks, maybe $50 or maybe $500, this is a problem. How do we fix it? Mojang is thinking about shutting down all donation perks, because without perks kids have no reason to steal from their parents. Although this is a problem for Mojang, because parents will come to them to get their money back when they didn’t get it. The kids that decide to steal will steal for something else, if not for Minecraft, but it is a problem we should be concerned about, how we can fix it, I don’t know, shutting down all donations is a bigger problem that will shut down most servers… What will happen?
