This just in, Minecraft is coming to XBox One, PS4 and PS Vita “SOON!”. A great announcement to be excited over.
Another cool feature, is that they mentioned:
We’ve decided that letting current players upgrade for a small fee is the best way to show our appreciation. If you’re a new crafter who’s looking to pick up Minecraft in the next few months – welcome!

That’s sounds great, I have been waiting to get my hands on Minecraft on my Xbox one, I hope it comes with all the great updates already, Xbox 360 just started to catch up for real
