This article will be about getting more people to your Minecraft server!

Number one, MOST IMPORTANT you NEED to have a good Minecraft server, as funny as this sounds, it’s the best way to get more people, for many reasons, but mainly people will do a lot for a good server, that they love including but not limited to voting for your server, inviting all their friends! (trust me if friends invite friends then their friends invite their…… your server will be HUGE in no time!

Number two, this goes along with the first one well, give your people a good chance to help you out, if it be building, voting, inviting people or being staff members, the more involved people are the more likely they will stay longer, and be great members of the community! When I say staff members that should be used cautiously, start people out with small duties after they have proved themselves with voting, helping noobs out! A quick note on the voting and inviting people, I would recommend having things for people to share with friends, like video! (I will talk about videos in a bit) for voting, have the links available with a command away, that’s easy to remember so people can tell noobs where to vote easy! I would say have about 5-6 links so people can get some stuff every day but not tons (I have forgotten to mention voting for diamonds or in game money is the way to go, when it comes to getting people to vote!)

Number three, VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO! Also have I mentioned Video? This is a HUGE thing, with video it’s easy to get a server constant traffic from a little bit of work (But work smart not hard) use Google keyword tool, to see what words are being searched a lot in Google, and use them in the Title, tags and first line of description! This alone will give you a huge advantage, in Youtube SEO (check Google for more on SEO) Another thing about video, having a good screen capture is good, but most importantly how long people stay on your video, how many likes and comments helps ranking and getting more views, getting your current players to like and comment on your video also gives some boost!
